The CRX has a problem with high speed stability. Ever since I installed the front and rear strut bars the car is real twitchey at high speeds. The rear end wants to dance around. This wasnt a problem before but i like the bars at lower speeds as the stiffer chassis handles turns alot better. Is there something else I could install to combat this?

do u have any adjustability you can do with the suspension?

What kind and how old are the tires do you have?

Did you get an alignment done after the strut install?
Sometimes you might not feel a bad alignment until the speed is higher.

The problem is that you haven't got a big grocery cart wing on the back of that thing. (sarcasm)

If you have adjustable shocks you'll probably have to make them a little softer.

Other then what has already been posted there isn't a lot that can be done. The CRX has a really small wheel base and the stiffer the suspension the more your going to feel unstable at high speeds. The reason my car looks like its about to flip over at autox is the same reason why i can go 120 before it even feels your driving fast in it.

What else do you have done suspension wise?

Have you replaced RTA bushings yet?

The suspension is just the strut bars and Eibach springs. I have gotten a allignment since the install as the bars have been on for a year now. The tires are almost brand new. I guess I could get new shocks they are a couple years old. And since the car is 15 years old maybe i should replace some of the bushings with urethane. The steering has been more responsive since the install so I feel every twitch of the steering wheel so shifting hard in a straight line givening the car torque steer is very noticable. I also no the motor mounts are toast so I will replace them also to keep the motor from flopping all around.
