Honda Civic chirping sound

A friend of mine has a 97 civic ex. Its vtec of course, but its probably not the problem. It has a IPT throttle body and fuel rail if this helps any. But everytime you press down on the pedal, it makes a chirping sound around 2500-3500 rpm. We have tracked it down to the throttle body. I dunno if they came stock with IPT or not, but im sure someone on here can be of help :P

Mine makes a chirping/whistling sound at 1/2 to full throttle...but it is due to my AEM CAI. Not sure if it could be the same kinda deal or not...

he has the same, and it does it with it off also.

The z makes a chirping noise, and quite a few other z owners have had the same issue, on our cars, it's usually a sign of build up in the tb, I've yet to clean mine, but he may want to find a diy on tb cleaning and give it a shot
