So my newly painted stock rims and tires are going back on my car very soon, and I desperately need an alignment. What's the best place around here to get one?

That depends.. are you having a custom alignment done, or just a standard alignment?

I get my standard alignments done at Sears in the mall, they take walk-in business on the spot and usually do a pretty good job.. plus it is guaranteed.

I've not had a custom alignment done myself, but I think Kurt had his done at Cole's in marietta... maybe he can chime in here and speak of his experience with the Miata.

Good timing on this, as I am going to need a custom one done on the Mini eventually.

I don't know about the custom thing. I just need my car functioning properly. Right now my rear driver's side tire is bald on the inside. I just need a basic alignment I guess. I'm not really setting it up for solo or anything like that, at least not for now.

Yes, Cole's did a "custom" job on my Miata...they cranked in the negative camber (gave it more that is.) It took me a while to talk them into it...they did a good job but they made sure that I knew there was no warranty for the work and if it ate my tires then it was my own fault...but I figured that anyway. I don't believe they are capable of going beyond -2 degree though so that is a consideration (even though that is too much negative camber for the street...if you want your tires to last.) I think it cost about $50 bucks.

I've had some experience with River City...needless to say I wasn't impressed though my Dad swears by them and takes his car there all the time for tires and alignments.

If I remember correctly Liam likes Malones on Front Street in Marietta.

Alright, I'll just shop around and get the place with the best price of all the ones you guys have suggested. Thanks for all the help.

I had Glotfelty Tires do my explorer after I lowered it. They did a great job and had to order some custom parts to put it back in alignment. They are located on south side on your way to walmart.

Sears did a great job, everything works perfectly now. I definately reccommend them.
