Thousands of pounds of burnt rubber have been laid down by movFast.com members. Let's build this review section about the tires that gripped and the tires that slipped.
Street, drag, AutoX/Solo, road course, off-road tire reviews are all welcomed.
If you are interested in buying new tires or you are having a hard time finding the specifics on a tire, please see http://www.tirerack.com.
Thanks!!!

Make and model of car Same tires perform differently on other cars. List Make and Model of your car, and also any suspension mods you have.

Make, model and size of tire- Please be as accurate as possible as certain model names of tires can be very close together.

Type of tire- summer street tire? all-season street tire?, AutoX tire, drag tire, road racing, off-road? Be specific.

Miles on tires- list how many miles you have put on these tires. For example, summer street tires are usually good in the first 5000 miles, they might fall off after that.

Driving style- Describe your driving style. Are you a crazy sidewalk sweeper, rally champ, some fun on street, normal, passive?

Overall opinion of tire Do you recommend this tire? Good bang for the buck? Give an overall score out of 10 points. Come on, spill the beans...

Make and model of car 04 Subaru WRX STi. large adjustable sway bars and hard sprung HKS coilovers are suspension mods.

Make, model and size of tire- Pirelli PZero Nero M+S. 235/45/17

Type of tire- All season

Miles on tires- around 10,000

Driving style- fairly normal with sprints of abusive tire behavior, heh

Overall opinion of tire- I got these tires mainly for the winter months. Thou they have good dry traction, their wet road holding is superior. Tirewall feels firm for an all-season tire but failry soft if compared directly to a summer street tire. I've only used these tires twice in the snow and they did rather well. I recommend these tires if you want a decently long lasting all-season tire. I give it 7.5 points outta 10.

Make, model and size of tire- Falken Azenis RT-615 195/60/14

Type of tire- Summer/autox tires

Miles on tires- 6000

Driving style- Normal with 100 autox runs

Overall opinion of tire The tire to have for the ST class, albeit with a vastly reduced rain traction and no snow traction. (Do not use these in any sort of standing water or snow because you will eat the guard rail.) These tires are prone to heat wear and need to be cooled, if you intend to use them for summer use then expect maybe 15k miles from them. They have very stiff sidewalls so you can get away with running lower pressures. Also, these tires need to be rotated frequently in order to prolong their life. If you intend to use them as race tires I would recommend carrying them instead of driving on them as they will wear out faster and heat cycle through. 6 outta 10 for overall... 9 outta 10 for race use.

Make, model and size of tire- Falken Ziex ZE-512 195/60/15

Type of tire- All Season

Miles on tires- 30,000

Driving style- Normal with some autoxes

Overall opinion of tire I highly recommend these tires for general all purpose all seasons. Excellent rain/snow traction and great for highway use, the road noise is a little high but for the price you can't beat them. 9 outta 10 overall.

Make, model and size of tire- BF Goodrich Excentia GT-H 195/60/15

Type of tire- All Season

Miles on tires- 20,000

Driving style- Normal with some autoxes

Overall opinion of tire I highly recommend against these tires. They are the Walmart $70 tires that are completely pathetic in terms of wear and quality. I went through 3 sets that bubbled within 2000 miles before I finally had them pay me back for the tires. 2 outta 10 overall.

Overall opinion of tire
My favorite street tire to date. Turn in is very good (Yoko AVS were a tad better), great mid-exit turn grip. Good stiff sidewalls. Its rain grip was amazing and where it really shined.I maintained a high interstate speed in the rain with very good traction. Full confidence in rain will make this a great rain AX/track tire too. I give it 9.5 stars outta 10.
BTW.. I got these on clearance from tirerack.com

Overall opinion of tire
A good/decent tire for AutoX. A great tire for dry track use. Even at 1/3 their life, they had tremendous grip at Virginia International Raceway. Braking was noticably better too. Takes a good lap to heat up then they stayed at optimum temp for at least 20 mins. For AutoX, their stiff sidewall proved to be beneficial for cornering but would only get up to proper "stick" toward the end of an AX lap on a hot day. Tires would be downright scary in the wet;)
8 out of 10 stars.

Make, model and size of tire- Nexen N5000 225/45r17

Type of tire- Ultra High Performance - All Season

Miles on tires- 7k miles

Driving style- Daily Commute, long distance driving.

Overall opinion of tire - I bought these tires on advise of a tire shop up in Williamsport PA. The tires that were currently on the car were shot and I needed a cheap replacement to get me by. These tires were about $105 a pop and I wasn't expecting much from them. However, I couldn't be happier with them. They are super quite on the road, and have been wearing exceptionally well. They have pretty good wet traction and very good dry traction. I would buy them again for sure.

I would give them a good 8 out of 10 stars.
