Great event.

Got to meet Jamie in his beautiful and fast M3, got to see Joe run the snot out of the Teg, see Kurt hit 10,000rpm around the whole track and Jeremy's smooth line on course.

I had a great time and my 19yr. old bro-in-law (John) thought it was a ton of fun too. I believe he is hooked after his first event. I also need to be careful...he nailed a 4th run time of 1:16 on my car which was the same as my first run time that day. I couldn't believe he made up 10 seconds from his first run time. He keeps this up and I'll be in trouble quick!
I already watdch the video of the runs...great stuff.
Next time its going to be all MovFast members on the vids.

For those that didn't make it...you missed a good event (sorry to rub it in)
The course itself was really really wide and fast with giant 180 degree turns. I was happy with my runs and got to meet my time goals.
We'll post the times here when they become official probably tomorrow night.

To the newbies...Joe, Jeremy, and Jamie...you guys did really well and set progressively faster times, which you should be happy with.
The next event will be even more fun, followed by the next one after that etc...

Sorry I didn't make it. I had some sort of stomach virus today, so I just kicked back and watched the Watkins-Glenn race today, which turned out pretty good.

By the way, any of you know who the guy on Kurt Bush's crew is? He's from Parkersburg. Left rear tire carrier, or something.

That was the most fun that i have had in the longest time... i am so hooked to Autocrossin, For what i thought i would do i was happy with the times that i had not ever beeing to an event like that or ever been on some turns that quick and trying to make them at full rpm's.. thats a great rush.. And the rest of you guys that havent done it .. get out there Ur missing a great time 8)

For my times.... not to bad couldn't keep up with the 10,000rpm Crx or the awd with double my Hp's but im happy with them... 8)

...4th run 1:26 finally beat jeremy with the last run..... 8)

Great job guys...plan on a big group in September....still 3rd Sunday of the month right?

and the dates for september im not sure of im thinking its the second saturday at the same place which is going to be a fund raiser for the school, and the third sunday in clarksburg Wv..i think but davis and/or Kurt will conform the dates....

All the dates and times you could ever want as well as results sorted by overall and by class.

Results are in on the page listed above (prelim.) Davis was 7th, His brother-in-law was 18th, I was 28th, Jamie was 42nd, Joe was 53rd and Jeremy was 54th out of 59. I would have been somewhere around 45th if I had somehow pull a quick last run out of the air.

Basically what this tells us is that Davis is a good driver with a fast car, that even a new person can do great in a fast car (Jon this month in Davis's car and Jordan last month,) I have a fast car but no clue how to drive it, and Jamie, Jeremy and Joe just need more experience and they'll do fine.

I did take a few pics I forgot I had my camera with me most of the day so I only got a few pics of Davis and John driving.

I will go ahead and put them here since they arent worth their own thread.
