Fo' Sizzale: My winter beater, 1991 Ford Explorer XL 4x4.

This truck has:
Auto Tranny, still shifts good.
Power Steering, feels a bit loose, but drives fine.
Good interior, not too trashed inside... all seats intact.
CD Player, elcheapo from wal-mart, but it plays!
4 Doors, which all open AND shut!
A REBUILT TITLE, so if that bothers you don't even read any further.
120k miles on chassis, roughly 80-90k on the replaced/used engine.
RUST, and quite a bit of it. Rocker panels no longer exist.
New U-Joint, installed in February
New exhaust, installed in March.
Heater blower motor replaced in Jan. 2003.
Here's the deal, this has been my winter beater for the last two years. I hate to part with it, but I have 4 cars currently and soon to be adding an acura to the family possibly. I just don't have room anymore.
This truck is fricken' awesome... I love it, I'll miss it. It drives through snow, sleet, hail, ice, mud, and anything else you can throw at it. It can haul 4 people comfortably and even having a rebuilt title and being 13 years old it still drives safely at 80MPH on the interstate.
THE 4WD STILL WORKS, making it worth 1200 bucks alone... The heater blows hot.. (My friends refer to the heater in my Explorer as "Dante's Inferno") There is NO A/C, NO POWER WINDOWS, NO POWER LOCKS... the only thing power/automatic about this beast is the transmission.
It has the old click style Lock-In, Lock-Out hubs... a Manual transfer case, and all that jazz.
This truck has RUST, no bones about it. No, you cannot see the road through the floorboards or anything, but the rocker panels had cancer and pretty much fell off 2 winters ago.
Truck is a dark red/maroon depending on how often you wash it.
Once again $1200 bucks, OBO. PM me with offers or any interesting trades.
