I saw a nice white Rex on the internet with white Si wheels so I decided to do the same.

Went the other day to Auto Paint Works to get a pint of paint to paint my wheels white on my white car (Say that 5 times fast  )

Anyways they looked good when I was painting them. When i put them on the car that was another story. It doesnt match at all. They are almost a tan color. I would have checked the color after one wheel was done, but I was doing them all at the same time.

Went back for a refund or at least the right color of paint. They told me that the paint on my car had faded and thats what it looked like factory.

I took a centercap off to prove that the color was different than what was in the book. Sure enough it wasnt the same.........at all.

Then he said I used the wrong primer even though he is the one who recomended the primer I bought compared to the primer I was gonna buy. Then he said I didnt spray enough of the white base on and he went on and on.

So I basically told him that the only reason why my wheels are off colored is because you messed up on my frost white paint.

He was a real prick about it, said he would gladly mix another batch for regular price.
"Im sure you would!" I said

So basically to make a short story long, I got all my money back for the primer, base and clear.

After he gave the money back he said he wanted the remainder of the paint just to be a dick, but since he already gave me the money I ignored him and left

So Basically in a Nut Shell, Auto Paint Works in Marietta Sucks with matching paint

Good input.

I went to Oesterles on Southside. They put some Ebp in a spray can for me....almost $13.00 bucks, which was kinda pricey I though, but it sprayed well and looked good...so I was happy...you may wanna try them....

Sorry about your luck.... 8)

yea about the same deal here about APW.. I just got my neon painted when i had it so it was brand new fresh paint i go and get some more paint to paint the ground effex that i got for it and it didn't match one bit , and i know i give him the Right paint code.. PW7 which was the exact paint that was on my car... Went back down there and they said i give them the wrong code i was like w/e.... and left oh well it didn't cost that much
