That eclipse I just bought is having a problem, It's sooo low, but, when I hit a small bump it wants to walk sideways. I know it's got a camber kit installed, I've never driven a car with that on it before, does that cause it to walk sideways, or is it just the fact that it's soo low, that the suspension is bottoming out and makes it bounce off to the side?

I believe its the springs and everything being so stiff when you hit a bump it hardly moves which makes your car bounce instead. Be careful because it can be dangerous if you flying thru a turn and hit a bump..

My cavy did that a little bit when the springs were all the way down, i would say just find a nice set of springs that arent so low, should cure it. Keyword=should

What do you mean walks sideways?? It jumps over? the steering pulls to one side?

From the looks of it I bet it rides 99% of the time on bump stops which is great for suspension parts

yea, its soo low that the top of the shock has a bent spot in it. I got it jacked up and looked around underneath, and it is bottoming out and that's what's causing the "walking" problem. its hitting the bottom and its so stiff that it bounces off of the bump stop i guess. or the top of the shock.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the stock wheel well height from the ground? So I will know just how much lower would be ok? I know its slammed now, but, I want to know if 1-2" would be too much lower than stock?

It's called bump-steer. Google it.
