So i finally got my cavalier running and then i found out in the middle of belpre that my TCC Solenoid is bad in it! I bought a new one and just wanted to know if anyone on here knew exactly where it was located in the tranny?
Drivers side.
Remove the side cover, it's behind it.
Prob have to jack the car up an yank the wheel to get decent access to it.
You will also prob lose some tranny fluid.. so be prepared with oildry

thanks, none of the books will tell you anything about it other then to take it to someone and have them do it.

Yea I always curse myself, I replaced the clutch master cyl on my acura...it was 3 bolts and 2 fluid lines. And wouldn't ya know I cross-threaded one of the bolts..
Dear lord, I am thankful for junkyards that give away free bolts.
Amen
If it can go wrong, it will
Always remember that when starting anything. Then if something goes wrong yuo arent suprised at all being how you were expecting it in the first place. If the job does go smooth w/no snags, then you just consider yourself lucky an be happy about an easy job well done.

Cars dont run properly unless they have small ammounts of human blood in them.
