Well considering its about 1 min from my house. I think ill make an appearance and maybe meet some members for the first time. Last year i got to watch them dyno a Viper wich was nice
Was that Feathers Viper? he is one of the instructors up there. He brought in his dragster one time and explain to us the process of staging and launching then showed us 8) tor up the new sealer on the lot. The last time I talked to him he had a extra motor for the viper he was building because the stock one wasnt enough!

I've known Bob Feathers for 20 years, or more, and he's always been crazy like that. Even before then, he and my old man (and Lee Hollingsworth, who knew Richard Petty...) used to race around all over Washington County (back when there was room to do that sort of thing).

So you know his son too? My buddy sold his turbo daytona to him, it had alot of hks upgrades and was running high boost the only problem was snapping axels! Just wondered if he still had it I think he also had a Turbo Dodge spirt R/T.

No, it wasnt feathers Viper, it was Kenny Morrisons viper, they both have Black RT/10's. It's to bad Bob sold his Hemi Roadrunner for that viper, cuz that was his dream of owning a Hemi Roadrunner. When he brought his race car in, was it the 2nd gen red charger? I got to steer it down pit lane as it broke down in the staging process..lol Bob & his boys and My dad & I used to go all the time to Nat'l Trail.
I'd love to go, but i have a game in logan..and its my bday..18 weee.

He has three sons. I grew up with his oldest, Jason, then there was Jeremiah, the middle, and I can't think of the youngest's name.
There was a little car show in at Bonanza/Cone & Shake this evening. I was coming back from town and stopped by, around 8'ish. Some nice muscle...

and dave, that must've been years ago when he brought his charger in..cuz after it broke down he quit racing I thought. I was like 12 at the time I think.
Who knows anything about him building a new engine for his viper? I must admit the RT/10's are the WORST vipers ever.
