Well its does sound good now. Why are they using the carb intake manifold? I see the S/C but still dont understand the mani and it sticks out the hood. The guy with the LS1 RX7 around here is cooler because he speaks english

I fail to see how it is a bad idea at all. IMO its not worse then sticking a LS1 in an RX7 or a 5.0 in a Miata. Those cars both have more then capable engines so there really isn't a "good" reason to change them.

I'd drive it.

Agreed
You know how you make a fast car faster? You chevy power it.

It's gona take alot of suspension mods to get it to transfer weight to the rear enough to keep the tires from smoking off. It'd be cool if they chopped it in half an shortened it up into a 2dr like those one jackass's did.

I'd say they are just working the bugs out before they go full "blown"

Yeh, that is pretty stupid. Not quite as stupid as this TT Volvo with an ls1...
This is my buddy in PA that has the red c5, it's pretty nasty!!

Well, I guess the links do not work anymore. Anyhow, it was a volvo wagon with an ls1 and STS twin turbos...

aww at least give him props for creativity (thats why I thought it was a good idea)I kinda thought the v8 focus was original. Doing the same to an evo really is a waste of money, and time in my opinion. Oh well.. his loss.

Thats not really creative that is just doing what everybody does to every other car. Every car in the world has had some kind of v8 in it they are just the first ones to make a movie of it.

Ppl have been putting v8's into things that didnt come w/v8's since the v8 made it's debut.

If they figured out a way to make it awd it would be sick. Im not familiar w/the trailblazer awd setup, but I know the older awd setup from a Safari, ect. type minivan would hold up to it. Basically a Syclone/Typhoon drive line. Tho with as much money as these guys are spending on this thing I'd say they could get what's there to work with soem retro fitting of the trans ect.

Kind of wonder what the weight balance is now. The motor is surely a bit heavier, but also there's a quite larger tranny sitting half way back of the car.
