Is there one around here, if they even exist in the civilian world? Something with public access (you pay for bay/stall storage on a monthly basis), with lifts, paint booths, fabrication tools (bead rollers, stretchers, brakes, etc)?

Thats funny you said this...b/c I have been thinking of doing something like this...
It all started when a month or so ago, while I have been busy doing alot of yardwork that has taken room up in the garage. So I thought to myself...self "wouldn't it be nice to take my car somewhere and work on it myself?"
Anyway, that has been something I have been looking into alot lately... 8)

The ones we had on the bases were cool. You could stop in and use the lifts or anything you wanted for a few dollars per hour, and even store a project vehicle there for like $1/day. They were pretty popular, mostly because we weren't permitted to work on cars in the barracks parking lot (even though we did), but even the guys that lived off base would use them regularly.
Was also cool having a wood hobby shop.

I know of a place in columbus, however it was very pricey and for some reason it was mostly only really nice cars. old ferraris, corvettes, i remember a couple of vipers stuff like that.
