C_Note

So I finally took some action. Today I went out to the train tracks with the intentions of getting the C_Note off the hill. I figured I would just put it in my grampa's shed, which is at the bottom of the hill, instead of trying to figure out how to transport it to my old man's garage, out in Vincent.
I was clearing the weeds away around the car to hook it up to the Massey, and noticed a snake skin hanging out from under the hood. It was already popped, so I opened the hood to see the rest, and also another that was stretched through an opening in the firewall. Naturally, I looked inside the car to see the rest, when I found 4 more throughout. 6 distinctively seperate snake skins... should have been my clue that the car had been sitting too long (stopped driving it in 97, so it pretty much sat around for 2 years before pulling it home in 99, where it's sat up on the hill for the last 5 years). After battling dozens and dozens of wasps, and their nests, I wanted to check around to make sure the snakes weren't still inside. Nope. But I did find a huge nest in the spare wheel compartment, along with some eaten nuts and squirrel or chipmunk poop...
With my grampa captaining the Massey, a dangerous mistake in it's own right, as he can't seem to ease the clutch out anymore, we manage to get the CRX to the bottom of the hill, in front of the shed, but not before nearly pinning me between the car and a huge tree... But we're digging trenches, because the rear drums are locked. We washed the 5 years of grime and shit off the car, which took the both of us 3 hours, and decide to take the wheels off to break the drums free. Well, that worked, kinda', but enough that we could move the car now without brute force.
So with the rear wheels still somewhat sticking, my grampa disappears, and since the car is angled funny, I have to, single-handedly, push the car back up the hill a little to straighten it out... in sandles... and mud...
I get it straightened out and, oh, here he comes... on a frickin lawn mower! Since the shed is also on a bit of an incline, he thought it would be easier to pull the car, than try to push, and the spot we wanted it within the shed was too small to use the Massey. He has chains on the tires, so I'm thinking this might not be too bad of an idea, because I nearly split my groin trying to push it up through the mud the first time. So we hook it up to the hook, and he's not to swift with this one's clutch, either, so we're jumping and jerking through the mud up the hill, as I'm steering the car. Then we hit the cement of the shed... which is another incline on top of an incline...
I actually had to push the tractor with my grampa sitting on it, PLUS the car, in muddy sandles. Holy Hell! And when we get it in place, he dismounts the John Deer, looks at me acting tired, and says, "You need to toughen up".
Anyway, the battery was low so we filled the cells up with water, but it didn't seem to be holding a charge. With it on the charger, I tried rolling it over, but nothing. We put it in gear and tried the rock the car, but it looks like the engine could be locked up. Or maybe something inside is just stuck, I don't know. Now it's been 8 hours, and I'm exhausted, so I didn't bother trying to figure it out.
So I'm trying to decide if I want to fool with trying to trouble shoot it, only to have to troubleshoot the original problem, or just save up and go straight for the swap. Either a D16A1 or a ZC?
Any opinions/suggestions? Maybe I should have just left it on the hill to rot...?
