Well, I toasted my clutch at the drag strip on Friday and I need to buy something with more holding power. I had a Centerforce Dual Friction in it and it only lasted about 9 passes. The car makes 532rwhp and 465rwtq. It is mostly a street car but will see some track time. I don't want anything with a really heavy pedal, but I'm willing to sacrifice that a little bit to get the holding power.
Anyway, I've been looking at the Spec Stage 3+ and have been kind of looking at the McLeod Street Twin. Although, I hate to spend $1000.00 on a clutch!
Anyone have any suggestions???
Thanks,
Matt

Spec stage 3+ or whatever is better than the reg stage 3 thats what you should get its a nice price too around 440. they also have stage 4-5. :)

That is kind of the direction I'm leaning in too.

Well, I finally bought one. I got a custom McLeod from Pro Motion Performance in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They seemed to be the most comprehensive people I've talked to and it was a pretty good deal. It's supposed to handle up to 650 rwhp so I've got some room to grow.

That's what I have in mine. Maybe not the 650rwhp one, but it's close. I'm happy with mine so far. :)
What kind of times did you run at the track?

How streetable is it? I'm hoping for something without extreme pedal pressure? Anyway, the track times weren't very good, my best ET was an 8.08 , my best MPH was 8.11 at 94.39. The clutch just wouldn't grab and I was only launching at about 2000-2500 RPM. I'll be ready for it next spring though!!!

It's very streetable. It's smooth and pedal pressure is about like stock. Those times aren't too bad, but it's definitely capable of mid 7's at least. My best was 7.84 at 95.03 launching at about the same rpm.
