I think Im going to upgrade because the delco unit is a$$. Going to get something I can use MP3s with and also get the interface so I can use the steering wheel controls.

How about this for the mounting plate because its din and a 1/2.

I been looking at head units for some time.. couldnt find a din and a hald unit for shit..
I finally did find one I liked that is technically a din, but the screen is almost a din/half
Def gona be ordering that plate.. glad you posted this.

yeah no problem I just thought this looked better than the generic one you find every where.

Yea, that's alot of why I hated to put a regular din cd player in it.
It looks really generic inside that huge opening.
I dont want to hack the hell out of it and modify my bezel to put a dbl din in.

Have you thought about changing the bulbs in your t/a to blue?
I found the how-to on it the other day.. if it ever warms up ima break into it

That does look a lot better than the old din and a half plates I used in Chevy's years ago.

Loved those old 1.5 din head units pioneer made back in the day, DEH-P85DHR was pretty nice back in the day.

Pioneer still has the din 1/2 but they have the same features they did 8 years ago. No Mp3 compatable........Just a 1998 circa player.
