Well, as long as it took them to finally reply to my email, as well as me not being able to contact them by phone, I am a bit turned off by them already..

However I must say the price, the lifetime updates, and the many many ppl on ls1tech who have used their services and preach their greatness, make me want to give them a try anyhow.

Here's the email stating what they can do via tuning the ECM;

You can send us the ecm any time you want! To program your stock PCM we try to return ship the same day we receive it but if that doesn't work we will ship it out the next business day. The price is $75 plus $9.00 for return shipping. We ship 2-3 day priority mail ($9.00) via the post office unless other arrangements are made.

We have free updates for the life that you own the vehicle, we ask for $9.00 for return shipping and a list of what you want change and a phone number and return address.

We accept Paypal to hannahbubb@yahoo.com or checks or money orders to:
Jesse Bubb
W4M Performance
23 EMS C22 Lane
Warsaw IN 46582

We do need the following info in with your payment so Jesse can customize the tune for what you want:
1. VIN Number
2. Any Modifications
3. Tire Size
4. Rear End Gear Ratios (if changed from stock)
5. What you would like to see out of the tune.
6. Phone number and return address

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Yea, if you had not had 1st hand experience w/them I wouldnt even mess w/them cause I am def not impressed w/customer service so far.

My car needs tuned in the worst way possible.
Wonder what they can do by way of a nitrous tune?

Right now just having the rear 02's turned off would be a huge improvement.
Plus the increased cam lift, air from the tb, bla bla bla.

SUPPOSEDLY my dry setup is safe up to 150hp. *shrug*

I would never trust a mail order tune for any kind of power adder. You could get lucky, but there's also a chance of popping a head gasket or worse. You're best off to take it to a good tuner and let them tune it on a dyno.

Plus most tuners are going to give you a very conservative tune just to cover their asses, which means it might be safe, but you're going to be loosing a lot of horsepower compared to having a custom tune done.

Im not doing it for performance, im doing it in order to get it back into the "safe" levels. I'll worry about the dyno tune once im done w/the car

Yeah this is just a conservative tune based off the dyno combos they have had in the past. Not a dyno tune by any means but alot better than stock tables on a modified car. The services I did for my car would be the same as what you can get from a handheld tuner.

Yea, they arent made to give you peak performance. You could seriously screw things up by going too lean ect.

I just need it to bring the tune to support the mods I have.
