i was just wondering when this whole thing was started up there was a mention of no street racing and no other illegal driving habits. So when i heard of someone on here with a DUI that kind of pisses me off. I know sometimes we laugh at the whole quanlity vs quanity thing but this should be a time we have some action I personally dont want people like that on here. A DUI is the top most irresponsible thing you can do in a automobile. If you have one you clearly state you have no respect for your fellow man. Just my $.02. The soap box is empty.

I do see what your saying.. but i don't know who you are talking about or the story behind the person.. But i believe that people change.. If so it happend when that person was younger and wasnt mature enough to know that driving drunk is totally stupid.. and now that they are older they have wised up... But i don't think robbie is going to call up the dmv and ask them a background check each time someone joins the site.... thats my opinion.. 8)

As perfect as you for what that means. Someone close to my wife on her side of the family was killed by a result of someone thinking a DUI was no big deal.

I also i have some very sad storys of friends that have been in accidents... wish people would just learn from other peoples mistakes and just stop doing it.. :(
Well damn.. One of my friends got killed cause someone shot him.. Guess they should ban all guns now too.
There's ppl who drink 4 or 5 beers an are perfectly fine, yet legally are drunk.. which was the case when I got mine. Wasent like I was to ripped that I had no clue what was goin on an hopped in my car an took off.. Besides that it was 5 yrs ago. Fact is ppl make mistakes, at least I learned from mine, unlike alot of ppl out there..so if youre gona be pissy twards me bout it you can go to hell. 'big deal'

ok we don't need anymore pissing matchs on here so if we can't talk about something in a calm way I don't think we need to talk about it at all. The "go to hell" stuff is not needed around here anymore with all the stuff that is going around anyway.
He voiced his opinion, I voiced mine.. It's highly illogical to think that you can talk 'down' to or upon another person w/out them taking some sort of offence to it. It would have been a complete different story had I said somethign like... 'man i got a dui, didnt learn nada.. doin it again this week, an prob the week after that'
As long as were gona get technical about the 'no illegal acts' policy, I just read about some 'drifting' last night (friday sept. 04) in the mall parkinglot. If im not mistaken drifting is considered wreckless driving, which is an illegal offence, especially in the mall parkinglot which the Vienna P.D has jurisdiction of..
Ok, im done.. I shall play nice now

I don't blame dave for his comments, and I don't blame Jay for defending himself, but, I'm saddened by the direction this site has taken, when I first signed on here, everyone was at least civil, I guess the current state of peoples comments is the cost of growing, or maybe having run sites before makes me over sensitive and I was just too uptight of a moderator, but seriously, IMO, everyone is showing a side of this site that is detrimental to all members here, if the childishness continues, I for one am off of the site, I know it doesn't really matter to most of you here, but, I don't want my name dragged through the mud because other people don't think before they type, free speech is good, but, why not post well thought out comments instead of go to hell, or f u, or any number of the other genius comments that have been made, we're here to discuss performance, to share experiance, and to prove that just because you like fast cars doesn't mean you're a menace to the streets, now my soap box is empty,
