I might be picking up one of these "bad boys" as a winter beater. Any info on what sort of power/torque the little monster can make?
Also, if anyone has one of these lying around that doesn't run or has been rearended I could use a bumper, hood, and windshield. (Mine is a 94, and no I don't really care what color body parts I put on it... it's a beater, not a show truck)

2.2 4 cylinder? Sonoma? looks like a s10? Some 2.2s had hg leaking issues as far as power and torque they didnt have any but you were better off with a 5 spd. Drove a auto extreme 4 cyl once and it was a turd my auto neon was ten times faster.

Also was it 4wd or 2wd. If 2wd prepare to add weight in the back when you get in the snow. 4wd wouldnt be a bad idea either they are light in the back.
my buddy had an 00' 2.2, racecar it was not.. but it did get pretty decent gas mileage. We put a k&n in it, thats bout it besides 17's.. Theyre nice to cruise in, but i wouldnt go lookin to blow the doors off of anything. Unless you feel like an lt1/ls1 swap.

It's 2wd... like I said up there it's a beater, it needs a windshield before it's driveable... and I plan to just do "free" mods to it... gut the cats and such, maybe even stick on a glasspack, I dunno. You say it's a 2.2? Isn't that what's in Cavaliers?

how stout is the bottom end in this thing? I might consider a custom forced induction setup...
