I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be spending some time away from the "movFast group" . I will still be reading posts and replying on occaison.
I like everyone here and enjoy spending time out, but in the best interest of friendships I think its best that I do my own thing for the time being.
Happy Trails..... 8)

Sounds like a good idea this site has gone to the crapper in the last couple of weeks. i think i will watch a couple of threads but it seems 50 is too big for a small town web group. As always remember quality not quanity.

Aight...........
You mean I leave for 3 days to go enjoy my car and you guys are leaving? I was forwarned about some "stuff" that had taken place on this site on my way back from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I've searched the site and can't find all that much "stuff". The DUI thread... is that what brought this on? The fact that Joe said that there was drifting going on in the mall parking lot? Because I don't know what, if any, posts have been deleted... I'm gonna hold off on "clean up".
Someone tell me what happened. PM me if you wanna keep it private.
I just came back from the best experience that I've ever had in a car since 1994 when I was de-virginised in the back of an Z28 Camaro. I had one thing to do when I got back.... tell you guys about it and post pics and video. But I come back to find you leaving for some stupid bickering.
Let me find out what went on... do some clean-up and posible wrist smacking... and get back to talking about how I lost a track session due to pad build-up on my rotors.... or how its impossible to find a set of brake pads for an STi in Lexington OH on a Saturday evening.... or how well organized a BMW club track event is....
P.S. Look for a good "Mid-Ohio BMW CCA HPDE event" thread tomorrow with lots of pics!

One thing I've learned over the years, especially when it concerns online discussion, is to not take anything personally. I don't know what happened, either, being how most of us/you know each other, it could have gotten personal.
One of the forums I've belonged to for 5 or 6 years is a very tight knit group of about 40 (plus the dozens that log in once a month to say hi). 95% of them are hardcore extrememist Liberals, while I'm fairly conservative. I don't like to discuss politics, they do, and too many times I've led myself into trouble by clicking on those blasted links and adding my $.02. Sometimes we get heated, but I always have to remind myself that it's nothing more than a difference of opinions. Everyone has them, and it's ok; surely nothing to get upset or leave the forums over.

I feel like I am possibly to blame for this, as people seem to have completely misinterpreted what I said in the "Pick on Adam week" thread. If it has nothing to do with me, then I hope things get worked out. If it is because of me, I feel that something has gone wrong here. I chimed into that thread because I felt that some of the things being said by the guys who are lucky enough to have a car that is factory fast were maybe a little offensive toward Adam. He said that it was all fun and games, but some of that stuff was a bit much to me. Maybe you guys have an understanding or something that makes it ok to talk smack about him and his car, but I was not aware of that. Adam is solely responsible for making these forums as interesting as they are, besides Robbie starting the site. Everyday that I get on here, there like 10 new posts. Usually, 7 or 8 of them were started by Adam and include some type of informative or inquisitive message. I'd say 65% of the posts on this forum are replies to Adam's posts. Maybe me being an "outsider" to this group makes it hard for me to see things the same way you guys do, but I would never say some of those things and I assumed that they may be offensive toward him, even if he didn't want to admit it. If I have ruined this experience for someone, please tell me and I will gladly leave. A lot of people on here seem to misinterpret a lot of the things that I say and take offense to my opinions. I am only here to help.
