Would it be cool if I got one of them new Dodge Trucks with the Viper motor and put some 24" spinners on it? Sorry J/K you know someone is going to do it. Anyways i never really paid attention to the Truck SUV portion of the site kind of made me laugh but alot of you guys would wet your paints when a GMC Cyclone or Typhoon whooped your butt. Had the pleasure to ride in both WICKED FAST!

Cyclones and Typhoons were some of the coolest sleepers on the road IMHO.
What were they... 4.3 turbo, AWD right?

Yes 4.3 turbo awd too bad GM didnt keep going down the turbo route, the vette could have gotten really interesting by now.

Agreed... GM was on a bit of a turbo kick at the time.. they had the grand prix turbo also... that was kind of weird. Had a factory McClaren turbo system in it I think?

I would say the new C6 is going to be very interesting, with talk of a 500+ horse vette in the works

Yeah, it looks good from what I've been reading. But it will still be a fiberglass deathtrap and more expensive than what they are worth. Corvette's truly don't impress me anymore. *sigh*

If you were buying new cars you wouldn't. Not in the same price range.

True, I guess I'm basing it on a pipe dream. If I had to stay in the $30k range, it'd be a new STI or EVO, but I'll save my list of cars I want for a thread that is more on that topic.

Then why was it "edited"? Anyways the typhoon was very fast yes i mean it was turbo charged and AWD and relatively light. There is a guy in North Hills with both a Typhoon and a Syclone. Sweetness BTW whats with all the bringing up of 1 year old posts lately?
