My mom is looking for a car to replace our Van (17mpg) and find someting that can still pull our trailer(1400 lbs.) that will not increase her insurance by much (none if possible). We have been thinking maybe a car with a v8 or some suv that is newer than 95. Price range less than 7,000. Any suggestions?

I was looking at a 98 Tahoe at Pioneer, list price is $9k. So if you check the Bulletin Board, you might find a 95-98 for $6-7k. I've seen 96-98 Jeep Grand Cherokees going for around 6-6500 lately.
