Yeah, most anything I wanted from my childhood we kept...now its sitting in my basement and I'm trying to figure out why we kept it.
How about the ability to enjoy the items that were kept in the same way we enjoyed them as a kid (for example, Legos.)

I'd like my youth back. My ignorance and lack of understanding of what becoming an adult meant.
Every BMX bike I ever had..

All of the Hot Wheels cars I played with when I was REAL little...I probably had a small fortune in those if I would have kept them like new in unopened boxes..lol. My Mongoose BMX bike that got stolen from my house. All of the good times with my buddies playing sand lot football, riding bikes at the trails(between 11th Ave. and the Trailer Park), hanging out at the sand pit by Jackson, the rope swings at pond run and just goofing off without a worry in the world. The whole no responsibilities thing was pretty great looking back...NO STRESS. Growning up/getting older kinda sucks sometimes huh..lol..except now you don't have to bribe people to buy you beer.

Do I even count in this convorsation?
Pokemon... ruined my social life, so let's not bring it back...
slot cars were fun... matter of fact, I remember how exciting it was when yours started drifting... knowing you narrowly avoided throwing that car off the track once again... can't wait to drift full scale...

Lego's for me too... when I was getting older we sold them at a yard sale, had two 5 gallon buckets full of legos and sold them for like ten bucks. Wouldn't mind having those back.

It was cool at one point... stayed in a couple years too long... ugh... I'm already dragging this on more than it has to be...

I wasn't allowed to have Garbage Pail Kids...
Legos are/were cool but what I really liked were Construx. I think my old man let us have those as a ploy to secretly convince us to become iron workers like the rest of the family.
Aside from that, there really weren't any toys (too much work to be done, I guess). I had a couple Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, but a glorious and wonderful baseball card collection. After 2 break-ins and a dozen moves, that has been reduced to a somewhat-worthless collection of about 15k commons. I guess that's what I get for keeping all the good/valuable cards together in their own box.
