Have a little extra cash here, trying to find the most affordable way to turbo the civic, saw adams and liked it much
Also, would you advise the cutting of the ac belt for a little extra power?? I've had a few people tell me to do this, but would it make uneven pull against the crank pulley?

We removed Adam's ac belt and picked up what felt like enormous gains....although, that may have been from the turbo we replaced it with.

One turbo Si is enough. Sorry.
I only removed the a/c b/c of fitment issues. Otherwise I would leave it. The 2 hp you gain is not worth removing it.... 8)

Yeah, i've heard that it is helpfull to lose the weight also, and I also am the guy that never uses his ac...... But i have a tendency to keep a car for only one year, so I don't know if i wanna lose the whole setup and cut the worth of the car....
Also, the weight reduction wouldn't even cancell out all of the subs i'm carrying in the trunk..... hrmm.......
Another thing i've been told to be effective is a pulley kit.... However, i've read quite a few things that have told not to replace the crank pulley b/c of the harmonic balancer or something *scratches head*...... This absorbes vibrations on the crank pulley which keeps the whole setup lasting longer...... However, once again, looking at inlinefour.com, where they sell tons of oem parts from other model honda's to fit the b16......
http://inlinefour.com/infourn1encr.html Here's a site that will actually machine your factory pulley, removing the ac and power steering parts, and reducing weight, while keeping the damper.... Might be usefull??? also half way affordable.....
Off to class now!! enjoy

A pully kit is bad news. I have heard nothing but negative comments on them.
As far as weight redux goes, if its a race car sure, a daily driver, not worth doing.... 8)
Uhh.. removing your damper will result in the eventual demise of your engine. Is there even a place that suggests doing so? Removing it to replace it with a fluid damper which may come with the kit maybe.. - I see nada wrong with pulley kits.. had one on my Civic, an got a set on both the mustangs which I currently own now. If you have a system tho, your alternator may die of a short life.. as it does not charge as well on idle, cause of the reduced speed in which its turning. Also you will get the ever so popular dimming of the headlights when your subs hit.. Pulley's wont make you extra power, they just free up a bit of it.

I was strictly talking about civics and pulleys. Big waste of $$ Imo. On a bigger displacement engine, I have seen great feedback....The only crank pulley I have seen that proved itself was the Ctr pulley..... 8)

They will give you improved throttle response. Car might rev a little faster but not worth it. The effect is very minimal.
Uhh.. like I stated before, I had a set on my civic as well as my mustangs. Granted there isnt as many things running off of the civics motor as the mustang but youre still going to notice a difference. Also it depends on how much of a reduction pulleys you get. Like anything else tho.. there's ppl who like them an ppl who wont. But yea Dave is right you will notice a difference in how it revs. There's an up side and a down side..
