How do you top the baddest iron small block to ever leave the GM warehouse?
Well you put a crossram intake on it, of course.

Available as a factory, dealer installed item, the crossram was one wicked setup for the DZ302.

With the high rev's the DZ put out, it was probably the only stock small block in it's, or any other era for that matter, which could take full advantage of this setup.
At any rate, it's badass, and you can buy a repro one!

..for the low price of just under 8k.

So when you gonna get one??

..here's how stupid I am.

A few years back my dad, some of his friends, and I were at a swapmeet.
He had bought uhh.. I think a fastback? I forget. Anyhow..
I was walking down through the parts yard when an x-ram caught my eye. It still had the Holley's on it and everything! The guy wanted $900 for it.

I strolled over to check it out. I thought to myself $900? Kind of steep..
(this was before they were going for quite the insane amount they are now)
I walked back to where we all had our cars ect. and thought about it some more.
By this time I had decided I was stupid for not buying it. When I told dad about it, he agreed that I was an idiot.

Him and I both stroll back on over to where it was, and sure enough, it was gone.
