Yikes, 11.8 1/4! Looks like a few mods to help :D

Looks like the Viper is just starting to run at 80+...nice trap speed of 119 mph.

From the sounds alone..it sounds like a few. There are guys putting down 12.9 1/4 on a completely stock STi. But 11.8 is pretty far from 12.9.
I too am wondering what the mods are...did you see that reaction time on the STi?!

Big deal saw a 95 civic hatch beat a Viper at import day at national trails acouple years ago it was open for all cars and it was bracket racing but they both dialed in at 11.8 he brought it thinking he would get a couple easy wins and lost to the civic in the first round. Even so he probably would have lost to a couple of RX7s that were there that day.

the viper in the video is Ben Treynor's he is a regular at ls2.com. that was his slow viper.

he has 1 96 i think gts that is supercharged and has a 200 shot. i think it was something like 955 rwhp. He was also featured in car and driver for having a 03 benz with the v12 twin turbo that had like 700 hp.

He also owns a 700 hp single turbo supra, a 500rwhp dinnan BMW M3 and a few other cars.
