I'll write more later.. I just walked in and im dead tired.
Ok,
So I stayed at the Bellagio, 20th floor, west wing, corner suite.
One side of my room overlooked the pool(s) and the other faced the RIO.
Kind of cool cause I could lounge in the hottub every morn and watch traffic go by.
If you go to gamble, and dont plan on taking in any shows, doing any bar hopping, and just want a REALLY nice place to stay, then by all means I suggest the Bellagio. The service in the Casino is outstanding.
If you want to actually go out and do stuff other than gamble I'd stay somewhere like Planet Hollywood or NY-NY. Mainly because the Bellagio is too "ritzy" and doesnt have alot of the typical tourist stuff inside of it. It has a Tiffany & Co. and other things like that. There is only 1 place inside of Bellagio where you can order normal food, the other place is a caviar only place, which sells wine. I will say however that the fillet minion at the Bellagio was hands down the best steak I have ever had.
Ny-Ny - they have the "Coyote Ugly" bar there. The bar was cool, and the casino wasent too bad, but the service in the Casino sucks. I locked up a machine and waited 30min before anyone was ever by to check on it. Not only that, the guy who did check it was not there to do so.. I had to wing an empty bottle at him from like 20ft away to get his attention. (I do not suggest doing this.. he was PISSED). So I sat there for 30min waiting.. which would of been ok had the waitress been around but she never showed.. The service in the Casino there absolutely sucks ass period.
Planet Hollywood - honestly other than maybe $50 or so I didnt really gamble much in this joint. I did however peruse the Miracle Mile which is the mall inside of the place, and take in Steve Wyrick's magic show (which was awesome). I took some pics of the Mall inside that I need to post. When you walk in it, you go a little ways and then it looks like you are outside again. The stores look like buildings and there is a realistic looking sky above you. It even thunder storms/rains/lightning at times in one section of that place.
Herra's - Nothing great about this place at all except for the fact Toby Keith's bar is in it. The bar however is awesome. Prob the most fun I had was in that place. Nothing but HOT women in shorts so short their ass is hanging out of them, shirts which dont cover even 10% of their large fake boobs, and cowboy boots. Oh, and they also have food/beer.. lol. Seriously though I watched 2 live Country bands doing cover songs, from recent stuff. Drank beer out of a mason jar, and had some awesome wings. the place is pretty wild.
Stratosphere - what a shit hole. This place is run down, unorganized, and just sucks. If you want a killer view of Vegas then go. Else do not bother or waste the time/money because it is def not worth it.
MGM - the live lion show thing was cool.. but that was about it.
Pure - voted the #1 nightclub in the USA. I had VIP access to this place which was cool because I just passed the line of losers waiting to get in and shot to my table. If you are a multi millionaire looking for a place to take your super model girlfriend then this is the place to be! If you are not however, then dont even bother going.
Everywhere in Vegas sells booze. You can buy it on the street, in the malls, you name it. The only thing that is hard to find, and expensive when you do find it, is bottled water! The only place this stuff is cheap is from the idiots outside at night who sell it for $1 a bottle. If you order water from room service it cost $10 for a bottle of Fiji water. It's actually cheaper to buy beer..
Asians outnumber EVERYONE at least 4 to 1. If you do not hate Asian people, you will after your first day in Vegas. They walk around oblivious to the people around them stopping in the middle of "traffic" of people trying to walk in order to take pics ect. None of them speak a lick of english and none of them give a damn that they are in your way. They will intentionally walk in your path not caring to do so, in order to take pics. You cant walk 15ft w/out having one of these jackass's in your way or bumping into one or simply running one over. By my 2nd day there I was frequently cussing at Asians when they were bumping into me and or in my way. These people are literally like Chiwawa's. Theyre small, yippy, hyper, always in the way, annoying, and worthless.
Moving on to other foreign people.. I think maybe 25% of the people actually speak english. And that's maybe high balling it a bit. All of the people working there do, but most of the "tourists" do not. It's really fucking annoying too because if theyre in a line in front of you for something they just point and rattle off some shit in a language the person working there does not understand.
Apparently the big thing to have in Vegas is a Vanquish. I must of seen 100 of these things while I was there. At any given time if you are walking the strip or just crossing it to go somewhere else, it is like being in a rolling car show. I seen everything from high end Italians to pro-tour'd American Muscle. It's all there, and it's everywhere.
Honestly there's alot of other stuff im missing or leaving out, as well as Casino's/Hotels but it's because they just dont stand out much to me.. Also alot of the stuf is just impossible to explain. I mean they have a mall which has it's own indoor thunder/lightning/rain storm.. try to explain how that all takes place lol. And that's nothing compared to the other stuff I seen..
