if i keep it we will have to log it soon, because i think that i am having the same problems as you about leaning out on top end, hopefully the fuel pump, and an adjustable regulator would help me out some

the Fuel pressure regulator isnt needed until you upgrade to a 255lph fuel pump.

I just installed the 190 walbro kit, and i notice a definate power increase.

I also rewired the pump so the voltage doesnt drop ( you should do this too)

For what the price of a regulator costs, I would consider it a safe upgrade when dealing with high boost. 8)

Rewiring the fuel pump on a 1g dsm is a must, its fact, voltage drops. THE fuel pressure regulator wont do much good, the factory regulation of fuel is more than adequate,

the problem is lack of fuel, putting a regulator on stock fuel and injectors is like putting a ... well i dunno, but it wont help the lean

I wouldn't put it on with stock injectors or pump either. I would however when upgrading the pump definatly buy one. It would seem to me that having that extra added point of adjustablitiy would be worth it IMO. Then again I am not a Dsm head.... 8)

;)

the stock setup for dsm, will regulate a 190lph perfectly, if installing a 255+ then yea, the afpr is needed,

the stock dsm pump flows like, 90lph. also, you can have 100000cc injectors on the 190 unregulated,
