looks like friday the 1st is the next test and tune night at kanawha speedway. i dont have anything to run (the ls isnt worth even putting on the track) but would love to go and watch. is anybody interested?

Remote bttl openers get ya in trouble tho.. too easy to be sittin at a light an flick the switch. Some assclown in a turbo talon was screwin with me yesterday thru town.. Not even 'on it' I was pullin a slight, didnt wana do nothing real dumb as I was in town.. I think mustangs have a banner across the back which reads 'sport compacts with hacked off exhaust's and $10 intakes from creative customez pleace race me'.

are you guys talking about the black couple ex? if so that think was not fast at all, when i went down in my hatch he was only 3 tenths faster than me. I would think with a zex kit his car should be faster than that.

Black? It was green.. lol
I dono bout track times or what not, but I drove it quite a few times an I will vouch that for a Civic w/basic mods (intake, exhaust ect) and a bottle the thing would move. Wasent great on take-off cause it spun but with a set of tires it would of launched well. Im willing to say it's give a stock mustang-gt a run for its money.

i was driving though the traffic circle that night, he pulled up beside us at saint joe and was like what in the hell you got done to that thing....55 shot it ran pretty damn healthy...for intake and exhaust only

the clutch seemed like a bear at the time, but if you have to drive it every day you get used to it.. my motorsport clutch is real stiff. when i get in something else that's a standard i try to put the clutch pedal thru the floor.

Oh I thought you guys were talking about the kid down at the 1/8 mile track that had N20 on his ex. So yeah anyway that was probably the coolest rice I have ever been a part of. That car was fast, but I thought jason said he had an 85 shot. :?

- Side note; Bought 88' GT in need of a tranny. (the maroon one I posted a pic of) Bought a world-class T5 used, while I had it in my clutches I seen no need of putting it in w/out having the sync's, seals, an bearings replaced.. that way I KNOW I am never going to have to worry about taking it back out. I get my car back, it sits in the garage for about 3wk's. Friday I get off work, bolt up a set of kicks so it's rollin 17's instead of those ugly drag-lights. I make it 25ft from the house an realise hey.. 2nd gear sync is out.. but wait, what's this? 3rd an 4th are out too.. yippie. It shifts, just not freat.. gota finess it a tad.. hopefully I can have the tranny out/fixed/installed in time to take it to the strip friday if im here.
