Just got an XBOX, what are some good games to purchase?

I just got a great deal on an XBOX and went to go look to buy a couple of games and trade in the crappy ones I got with it, but I dont really see any I think I would like.

I just bought Halo, so thats a start.

And I got Nascar Chase for the cup with some trade ins. Its ok, but not what I thought it was gonna be.

What are some other good games to either rent or buy, Im a big XBOX noob.

Oh by the way, I like any games just as long as they arent RPG's

You've got one of the best.. halo 8) , get tocca2 if your into racing games, Rainbow6 if yourin to war games, and TruCrime is a sweet game, Alot like Grand Theft but ur the cop.. its sweet

Max Payne 1 and 2, Splinter Cell, (rpg's tho) Mortal Kombat DA, uhmm.. Need for Speed underground, Im sure i'll think of more later.. its too early to think.

I like racing games,,,(also FPS too thou)

Here's my list of racing games starting the the best:

1. TOCA 2: great graphics, car phsics, damage, awesome online play, wonderful selection of cars over various formats and styles. Its also the official movFast racing game.

2. Project Gotham racing2 : more than just going for the checkered flag, wonder graphics, great car phsics, powersliding, high fun factor, good online playaction

3. Rallsport Challenge2- if you like rally cars (I'm a rally nut) then this is a must buy. Its vastly different from the crappy PC version (which I have), incredible graphics, wonderful car physics, challenging, beautiful terrain, high eye candy factor.

Burnout3 is supposed to be really good and gettting high reviews. I'll have to rent it first.
