Saturday and Sunday meet

As tim said I have a d16y8 short block and two d16z6 heads, so now all I need is to get it put in my friggin car. So anyway I was think that maybe we could all meet up out at my moms house (two stall garage)saturday around 5 or so and go on into sunday if needed. I guess I will just get the car toed out there if needed or get a truck and a toe strap or whatever. Well anyway she lives out a couple miles from belpre, anyway who wants to come can call me at 423 6562 and I will give you the best directions I can. Also on a side note water from the flood that happened last weekend got into my mothers garage and took must of my tools and put them god knows where so if you are going to come and have anything that you think would help with the swap/install I would be very grateful.

Drive up there an get them, isnt that far.. ive been there half a dozen times gettin stuff for my car. Their showroom is awesome. Bout everything you see in their rag is out on the floor for you to look at. Last time I was there as soon as I walked in there sat a blown motorsport 302 with all the chrome goodies, and a dressed out b18. Not to mention a mini-dragster. You can spend hours just wandering around in there.

Course this actually happening is contingent on his having gotten all the parts he needs and getting the car moved to Robbie's house...we'll see.

I have the ARP head bolts in my hands as we speek, I also have the intake manifold gasket all I need to do is swing by advance and get my head gasket. Now its just getting my car over to robbie's and not get stopped by the cops or something. I has hopeing for this to start around 5 or 6 so anywhere around there is cool but hell it isn't my house so I guess you would have to talk to robbie about that.

Ok, now all you have to do is figure out how to get the engine hoist from here to Robbie's and find a valve spring compressor...get some brake cleaner too....4 cans or so for cleaning parts.

Ok, I just talked to Jeremy (at about 4:20pm.)

Liam went out and picked up his truck and came back into town and they were going to go get the rest of the parts and a Uhaul tow dolly to move the car to Robbie's. I would not expect them to be there much before 6pm at the lastest.

So, it looks like things are progressing, its just going to be a later start then anticipated.

New Update;

5:30 ish: Liam and Jeremy are waiting at Jeremy's for a tow truck. It should be there by now. At that point they are moving the car and the engine parts to Robbie's. After that, Liam is coming up here to get the engine hoist and take it to Robbie's.

Lol, I didn't disappear, I went to work...2 hours of sleep since 10am yesterday...I'ma tad scatter brained (yes, moreso then usual) at the moment.

Anyway, Robbie has a new car.

Actually, we are short some parts so we weren't able to finish the car over the weekend. Hopefully we can round them up this week and get the car up and running again but we'll see.

Does anyone have a functional 92+ D15 engine they would be willing to give away or sell cheap? Actually, if the engine isn't funtional but intact, that would be fine too.

Just talked to Kurt. (he pulled an all-nighter at work)
Jeremy's car has the wrong top bolts...wrong parts ordered for that engine. Sounds like they have to re-order or find some different ones.
However I wasn't there and Kurt can give all the proper lingo so you'll know the details later.

No, the wrong ones were just ordered, that along with a slew of other problems pushed a simple swap to a big pain in the uranus. All of us are trying to find parts so that Jeremey can have a running car and Robbie can have his garage back(plus a little less marital stress (; )
