As many of you know I have been getting some vibration in the drive line of my m3. After finally getting it up on jack stands I found out what the problem was.

The mounting point at which my diffrential and my subframe bolt together; the bolt sheared off. So my drive shaft had no support coming from the rear end, which made my flex disc rub against my shift linkage.

All in all the damage was not too bad. I just have to drill and tap out the part of the bolt that is still in the mount, put in a new bolt and replace the flex disc.

Not all bad came out of this, I took the oppurtunity to replace a few other things while I had everything underneath out.

UUC short throw shifter
UUC Race tranny mounts with enforcers
UUC Clutch arm bushings
UUC Double Sheer Selector Rod(I will show what this is when I get it later this week)

I will post more about this later in the week when all my parts come in. Just wanted to give an update.

I will try to take some tomorrw, I have to get ready for work. I am still on midnights.

I will put the old disc and the new disc side by side when i get the new one. I think you will be able to tell there was a problem. Old one is cracked all to pieces.

Santa came today and brought me my parts. I will probably be out in the garage the rest of the day now.

I will take some pics and progress occurs.

well all the new parts are bolted in, shifter, tranny mounts, flex disc.

The only thing I am having trouble with is getting the broken bolt out of the differental, and finding a local replacement.

More up dates later.
