There is a possiblity of another d16 all together going into it, but, the head studs are going to be re ordered and shipped if the other d 16 doesn't work out. If there is a possibility of it being redone this weekend, robbie is staying in town so it can get done if not, than it's going to be a month from now for it to be done, because kurt's going on vacation for two weeks starting the weekend after this, hope this clears stuff up

the new head bolts ( D16Y ) are in my hands, I got them from summit today, so if everything goes well we should be going at it tommorow night.

There are 2 new engine blocks at Robbie's house as well for spare parts, including one with a good oil pan, tube, and windage tray.

If the head was reassebled, I would strongly suggest a valve adjustment. I will be doing that also this winter. Not terribly hard from what I have read.
From our very own Diy thread in the General forum.
Valve Adjustment (http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/valveadjust/valveadjust.php)
Also, you may want to check the timing..... 8)

I agree, hence why Liam and I recommended that these things be done after we finished assembling the engine. ;)
I had the head of the engine torn down with the exception of leaving the valves in the head. It sounds very loose...hopefully its the valves, but its hard to tell considering the quantity of metal that had been roving around in that engine.
When the valve cover is off the engine it would be a good idea to make sure the timing belt isn't off a tooth as well. I haven't dealt with very many conglomerate engines but I wouldn't think a VTEC block and head would have any noteworthy conflicts when it comes to timing belt installation. I'm fairly certain that the belt didn't skip a tooth but its not impossible that it did.
I also think a compression test should be performed after this to ensure that the valves (especially in #2) are seating properly.
