Here is an inexpensive way to protect your car:

A DIY fuel cut off switch. The idea is to hide this switch in an inconspicuous place in your car where no thief would think to look.

Materials Needed:

- (1) Rocker Switch From Auto Zone $2.50
- Roll of 18 gauge 12v wire Any Color (Power) to extened the fuel pump wire to the location of the gauge.
- Roll of 18 gauge 12v wire Different Color (Ground) " "
- 18 Gauge Butt Connectors or
- Soldering Gun
- Roll Of 3M Electrical Tape from Lowes $4.00
- Wire Tapper/Stripper/Crimper from Lowes $12.00
- A Location to put the switch

Find your fuel pump wire (mine was under the rear seats to the drivers side wiring harness) That applys to all 94-01 Integra's. FYI The Integra Fuel Pump wire is Yellow w/ Green Stripe.

Once you have located your fuel pump wire, cut it and strip about 1/2" off off of each side of the wire. Now grab a butt connector and put one on each side of the wire and crimp them.

Now grab a section of pre-cut (enough to reach the spot where you are going to put the switch) 18 gauge wire and stip 1/2" off the end and crimp it into the butt connector on the ECU side of the wire. Now Run that wire to your switch location.

Same goes for the fuel pump side of the wire. Make sure to cut a little bit more than needed in case you screw up. Connect the two wires to the switch and find a good ground location and run your ground wire to the grounding location.

Now start your car and depending on the switch your car will either die of keep running, If your car stalls flip the switch and start your car again.

This is a very cheap and effective way of protecting your vehicle. Just make sure to put the switch where a theif wouldnt think to look.

I have heard of people using the "window lock button" on the driver's door panel for this, so that the thief would not even think about turning it on/off to start the car like they would if they could find another switch under the dash while they are hotwiring it.

Would prevent 99% of car thefts, although if they new what they were doing and had time, they could figure it out and just jump the wire @ the pump and steal it anyway..... 8)
