Hey guys...
My name is Troy Morgan and I'm new here. I would never have known this place existed had I not attended the rained out Payne Engineering event. I noticed a sticker in Robbie's (I think) windshield and had to join. I am on a million different forums, but it has always frustrated me that there were no good local ones...well, I guess it's not local since I don't live in the Ohio valley, but it's close enough. We have a website that kind of sucks lol. It's ATABO.com (Automotive Tuning And Briefing Organization) and was originally meant to be a place to get reviews of cars and products, and a place to showcase some of the other stuff we do. However, I just got a new Sony Vaio PC and Dazzle DVC 150 video capture device a few days ago, so it will be improving soon. All of the videos on that site are pretty old right now, as I gave up on the videos until I got a new PC. For an example of a video I made with the new equipment, http://atabo.com/wrx.wmv right click the link and save target. The new videos are much higher resolution and better compression. I have actually found Davis's videos on another forum before and was amazed to see someone else sharing local videos, especially on SRTforums.com. Anyways, I'm glad to be a part of this website and I hope I can be of help to some of you.

http://atabo.com/alerointake.mpg That's a before and after of an AEM short ram intake installed on my fiancee's Alero...we did have a 3.4L V6 Alero, but apparently the driver of a tractor trailer either hated or was completely mezmorized by it...either way, he totalled it.

http://atabo.com/blowoff.mpg That was made to test my new camera mount and to get audio of an Eclipse Turbo after cutting the blow off valve dump tube and the second part, in which the exposure is turned up too high to see much of anything, we had just removed his boost control solenoid restrictor. WARNING: this video sucks.

Welcome, Troy, so glad to meet me. I am so happy I could join me on these forums, and I can't wait to see some more of my videos. I'm so glad that I am here to be of assistance to me anytime I may need me. I look forward to reading more of my posts and can't wait to see what I have to say about them. Happy to have me aboard! Welcome! I am so glad that people like me exist in the world today, Troy, as it's hard to find someone I can trust and turn to in any situation. :?

Your self,
Troy Morgan

well, I went to the Payne event today and was told that I was not allowed to post the videos on the internet...that sucks ass. I just left after that, as I had no reason to be there. That is such a let down. I was told why I can't post them, but if I post the reason, it would completely defeat the purpose of not posting the videos. Sorry guys  There were some verrrry nice cars there, though. There was a rediculously fast RX-7, as seen in some of Davis's videos, and a red EVO that also posted some very impressive times.

They did let you take the video, be thankful of that. If videos start geting posted on the net, they will not allow anyone to video it. They would be smart to totally restrict the event if it gets out of hand. Payne is a wonderful event, and we don't want to risk loosing it.

Bill Gamon and John Wright... both cars a extremely fast. John has a 3" turbo back, boost controller, AFC and Victoracers.

Too bad I couldn't make it to the event today.

There are very good reasons why posting video online from that location is not allowed...however I'll just list one.

1. Because the owner of the property said so!!!

I don't mean to be rude...but those are the rules. Quite frankly when it was explained to me, I had ZERO problems with it. I video nearly every event and post them online becuase I get a OK from the chapter to do so. If ANYBODY had a problem with it I'd easily stop.

Hint hint...please do not make an issue of this on any forum (here or on the chapter's forum) as you might feel un-welcomed at the events in the future as it is a very sensitive subject. (just trying to look out for you)

If you have any questions please PM Robbie or myself.

I was aware of who the drivers were, I just didn't figure that the folks who do not go to these events would care about names, but more about cars. I understand completely why I cannot post these videos, and it has nothing to do with SCCA videos being posted, it only pertains to this particular event. I am very gracious that we are even allowed to come to this event as spectators, much less come away with video. However, the SCCA is not an underground organization, and they usually promote themselves through videos of their events. I sympathize completely with Mr. Payne, and even more so with the Southern West Virginia Region of the SCCA, and understand completely why these videos cannot be posted...but it was still a huge letdown.

Glad to hear you understand the situation
