It was about 12:00am on Thrusday/Friday night, coming back from the BWW meet. No traffic around or anything, going about 65mph when I saw a deer right on the side of the road. I braked hard and stopped before I got very close and the stupid deer just stood there looking at me.
Now fully awake, I get back up to around 55mph (about 20 seconds later) when of course another deer comes up along the side of the road. This time it wasn't too close, still hit the brakes hard and the stupid button buck just stood there looking at me. (dumb deer never seen an STi?)
2 miles later in the Coal Run area, 2 little dogs ran in front of my car at 65 mph, not too close but once again enough to keep me thinkin' WTH, and practice some slalom.
2 deer, 2 dogs in 2 miles. Yea, I went really slow after that and was waiting to see a satellite fall out of the sky and hit the road with my luck. (didn't happen thankfully)
Jeesh, and I was joking yesterday about the fact that if I had a FMIC, I'd be picking up cats and dogs...However, no birds were lost (to the best of my knowledge) during my interesting drive home.
Anyways, thank you Brembo for making brakes that work so well that it calls wildlife to my car for further testing.

hahahahahaha...practiced some slalom  I'd be worried about bats at night. I was in someone's car when their antenna hit a bat. That was weird. :|

Wow, i don't think ive had that many close calls in one night, but that is a bad road.. deer everywhere, i usually don't ever take that road, but when i do i always keep the window down when im driving, the cold air always keeps me wide awake... lol but its good you didn't hit anything. 8)

Sorry, guys didn't know exactly sure where to put it. It was brake related but you are right...it should probably go to OT, feel free to move it.

That's splitting hairs really.. Being as that it is generally car related, I wouldn't move it. If the thread's title had been "Hey check out my new rash..." or something like that, that is definitely OFF topic...

Hello, and welcome to the Official movFast Support thread! We are thrilled to have your visit, and we hope that you will join us in the forums.
The focus here is to help everyone gather information in a cooperative and timely manner and to help diagnose Technical problems and Performance related questions.
I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I was just making a statement.
If the question had been about his brakes or installing them and what brake fluid to use ok. Instead he was just making a comment on how he liked Brembo.
I like Nitto tires. That is not a question and does not fit the criteria for the general forum.
That is all.... 8)

Touche
Nonetheless, I consider it a moot point because those rules more or less outline a forum with the title of "Tech and Help" rather than "General". I've expressed that opinion to others before, so I won't go there again.

It stays. It IS "generally" car related. Hence, we'll leave it in the General forum.

We are all here b/c of our relationship with cars.
If thats the ruling then it applies to every forum?
Well its car related? Whats that ? Copout me think..... 8)

Could you restate that in a format that I can understand. What the heck are you trying to say?

driving in ohio is a constant aggressive driver training course...going through downtown marrietta should get you a closed circuit track license stamp
