Glad to see you made it here Luke. I will keep my eyes open for ya.

Look here for a good solid engine.

Of course B series, but don't forget the Z/c option....

I know a guy that is selling a 1991 CRX SI with 80,000 miles on it.
Its painted EBP, it has buddy blub body kit on it, it has arospeed coilovers,
big brake kit, the bad thing is it has a rebuilt title.
He is asking 2500 for it. Pretting high in price but its clean.

Also, for some great reading and info...look @ our very own collection of sites and forums.

They are several Honda Tuning sites. I would recommend a few; such as http://www.clubsi.com and http://www.honda-tech.com

Sign up and let the learning begin.... 8)

I have one for sale, definately needs some restoring

5 Speed DX Model with 200k Plus Miles

$200

Runs Like a champ, you could drive it, but clutch is almost out of it, but what do you expect for $200

I realize he's prolly got first dibs, but I'm interested as well. what year is it? Is it good enough to be daily drivable for awhile until I can afford a clutch?

The number 4 piston doesn't seem to like me very much, but on a good note its not my fault this time :D so I'm just going to drive it until it goes, so I'm just saving up 400 so I can get a z6

Sorry dude....well it looks like another movFast engine build....yipee.....

On a good note.....drive it until it dies....and get yourself a new z6, throw it on an engine stand and throw some higher compression pistons in it....grab a vafc and dyno tune for some extra ponies.... 8)

Yep, thats pretty much what the mechanic I talked to said to do. From what Liam and I described he thought it sounded a lot like a loose wrist pin. Its just kind of a rattle at 1500-1800 RPM. Its not a major problem, just annoying...most likely why the engine was replaced at the dealership.

The more troublesome aspect of that engine at the moment is the stutter it has when you spike the gas. It feels like a cylinder isn't firing as if the timing is a tooth or two off, but the belt is on properly.

So, on that thought, drive the car easily until you have the money saved up to replace the engine. Assuming the engine survives that long, then drive it however you like and see how much longer it survives.

yeah I drove it to work the other day and on the way home it started to knock so I'm not driving it anymore because I don't want metal shavings all in the head again because I plan on selling it, I will have the money to buy a z6 around thursday or friday next week, so kurt it you could give me the phone number or address to lan dots I'm going to see what I can do about getting the engine.
