would anyone be interested or know someone who would be interested in purchasing an 88 trans am for the sum of 4000 american dollars or best offer. The vehicle has 88,000 miles and is in good condition over all has new breaks new tires a new torque converter new exhaust (catback) the leather interior is in alright condition except for the drivers seat. Its 5.0 tune port auto. T-tops, and cd player.... Let me know if anyone is interested...

no but really his car is very rare, I think there were 20 built with the 305 with an auto and like 200 or so with a 5spd

it was just rare to find them with the 305 in them with an automatic, because not very many were ordered that way.

No...no...you have it backwards Robbie. See the car was built and people ordered it with the autotragic....they drove it and realized how bad a mistake they made and started a shooting rampage....i.e killing/raping/stealing...

Hence the game was named after the original car that started it, the Gta.... :twisted:

ive never seen a factory 80's GTA w/5spd.. allmost all were 350's tho right? an the ones w/350's im 99% sure did not come with a 5spd period. not real sure.. gives me something to look up now lol

I was talking about the 305 with a 5spd, they didn't make 350s with 5spd that generation

Yea I realise you were talkin about the 305/5spd combo.. I was just sayin ive never seen a factory 5spd before. Didnt they not offer the 350/5spd combo cause of body flex? The auto's were bad enough about puttin rips in the roof an the t-tops leaking from torque flex, prolly worse once you have someone behind the wheels grabbin gears

okay A - holes, the car is rare because of the fact that it is a 305 GTA auto and here is the kicker, T-TOPS, that whole combonation was rare. I snagged this bad boy and I do like it alot. Its slow.. yes but i like it and I dont think I am goin to sell it.. and as for the comment about torque making the t-tops leak.. either my car is putting out enough torque or that law skipped my car because the t tops dont leak at all... but anway.. I like my car even though its slow... for the most part it treats me well...
