Let's find a new hangout.

Ok, after last night, I've had a revelation. We need a new hangout spot. Something a bit more secluded. I have a few things in mind if people are interested.

I realize I'm going to encounter resistance on a few levels to this idea. Most people would rather sit at C.C. because of all of the idiots who drive by/stop in make it interesting. But look at it this way... we don't really pay that much attention to them, as we are too busy talking amongst ourselves.

Thoughts on this?

You wont get any resistance from me I out grew that crap years ago. "Man I dont know why we cant hangout in the lots in town the cops just dont have anything better to do" :roll: Couldnt be because of the constant high speed parking brake spin outs or the burn outs or the trash or..................

I guess my biggest reasoning for it is the reduction of liability and hassle. I wouldn't mind hanging out at CC to spread the word about the forum, get new members, etc.. However...

On the flip side of the coin, I like keeping things quiet as far as the po-lice go. I don't want to be associated with those who e-brake slide around the parking lot and do burnouts, etc.

Perhaps my age is showing through, just a thought. I'm sure I'll get over it... :shock:

Alright, I dont know you Robbie but i know adam and justin and we are pretty cool as far as i know.. I am up for any new lots you guys would like to go to i just talk to adam jeremy ben and justin anyway so just tell me where to go.. The stupid acts like (shocking people) lol ;) and doh nuts are uncalled for thats what gets us frowned upon by the 5-0.. if you want to do that go do it Kmart they will like it over there:-D

But in all honesty I do like Cc for a few reasons. Buddies that see us there can stop by. Close for me to go...biased....etc.

My wife scholded me Sunday for going out Sat night :roll: . So, I ask her "Would you rather us ALL come here and play Xbox, do engine swaps, cam installs, shoot the shiznit and carry on?" "Yes" she said. So, we are welcomed by my wife at my house. :D :D :D

Other than that, I'd like to go someplace where I can give test rides to peeps that are over 40MPH! Me wanna switch gears!!

Well, I'm not saying it's something we should do all the time, but take this into consideration: My office has a great view of the point, and I RARELY ever see a cop go back there... especially around the far corner where the last parking spots are. I've thought this ahead a bit, and have been doing a little watching... And I can definitely keep an eye on it from here...

She scolded you for going out on a Saturday night? yeesh... I've been there man... trust me. My wife and I have an understanding about seeing friends etc. now, so she doesn't complain too much. Plus she goes out with her friends quite frequently.

Also, for those of you who know me well enough, you are always welcome at my house as well. Just gimme a little advanced notice if we are doing anything major.

The marietta Fairgrounds.. where the skating rink is.. or/and also the boat dock futher down the road. WHere the Skate Park is located.. Always unlocked(halfpipe,quarter,spines, ex.) if there is any skaters in the croud.. But it doesnt matter to me.. I like CC because its in a good location, and the 5-0 seem to be ok with it if we keep the Crime level down :wink:.... So im up for anything

I'm sure that's not a bad place, used to hang out in that area when I lived in marietta, however that is a pretty far drive for the majority of us who live in the greater parkersburg metro area... :roll: hehe... anyways, I'm sure we could hit marietta up once in a while for a change of scenery though.

I was just wondering is there a place around here that is on top of a hill. that would have alot of View? I can't think of any but that would be perfect. For a place to go somtimes when we wana quiet place.
