Swapping Heads on a Supra

I've done some preliminary research into the possibilities of swapping the head on my supra. I have a 1985 Celica Supra, the last year before the Supra was its own official line. The downside is it's impossible to find ANYTHING aside from ricer crap to put on the engine. Cams are impossible to find, it's just a hassle to find anything.

Barring technical & mechanical interferences what do you guys think?

Here's the idea:

Currently:
5M-GE Straight 6 2.8 liter DOHC with 12 valves total (Naturally Aspirated)

Upgrade to:
5M-GE straight 6 2.8 w/ head from a 3.0 liter DOHC 7M-GTE w/ 24 valves

I realize the cams will be different due to the the intended turbo use.
I intend to keep the 5M-GE as Naturally Aspirated. I do not know if the 7M-GE (naturally aspirated had the same 24 valve head). I do however know that there are minute differences in the engine block between the 5M-GE & the 7M-G(T)E.

If I *did* do the swap it'd cost me the following:

Head Gasket ~ 150.00
Good Head ~ 200.00
labor ~ free (i'd do it)

There is a good head on ebay going for 30 bucks right now, wish I wasn't so D4|\/|N broke.
