Had to put it out there. This is my latest project. Imports are my only bang. I've built a few lowriders and a sport truck and have slowly started to move out into the import scene. So here she is. Everyone does the whole "JDM" thing and I respect that, but I wanted to keep it american with the aspec package.

-2004 Acura RSX Type S ASPEC
As of now, I only have a SRI on it. (I've only owned it about a month and a half)
Working with GReddy on a potential sponsorship however that may not pull through.

Future mods-near future-GReddy turbo kit with intercooler and evo exhaust. Prospec B timer, type r cams, type r pistons, ported and polished, and a turbo idea I'm thinking of patenting. Watch out for that one! :D
Far future-K block swap with Acura CL for a lower compression ratio and pounds and pounds of boost. Ha ha

I don't know how to get these to post without uploading them to a different site. So here's another.

Looks sharp. If you need any help with the turbo setup, shoot me a pm.

I would keep your cams, unless you want to stay n/a...type rrrr cams aren't the best for boost... 8)

im just curious but why did u choose the greddy kit over the cybernation kit? I use to be obbssed but it seems like cybernations kit is a very well rounded kit

Well a couple of reasons, reliability and turbo size as well as the complete kit. I have heard numerous comparisons as well as seen tons of turbos, they all have the pros and cons and they all can go wrong if they aren't installed and properly maintained, but the reliability of GReddy seems to shine so basically that was the main reason. Second, turbo size is small enough to spool up and give me the low end that I NEED! I have enough high end to make me happy. I'm looking more into off the line as of now, but we'll see what I can do when I got money to twerk the turbo. Plus, LOVE the emanage! Nothing beats it. I'm sorry, but it's the best. Ha ha. There isn't a DAMN thing you can't touch. (AS long as you know what you're donig) So that's why. :D

Doesn't the emanage only have like 5 rpm points to adjust fuel?

I guess some people may think so for your car, but there are better management systems in general. On my dad's 500hp 350 we built we used a Electromotive system (Tec-2). basically one of the only EMS's we could find that had the options he wanted. Also recommended by one of the main guys who build the Corvette road race car's engines. Sure we had to build our own base-map from scratch, but after we did that, the guy from the Corvette team tuned it perfectly.

That's awesome. I'm not sure of the exact number of fuel points, but I know ignitions is loaded with points. Now see, building my own would be great, but I'm also a full time student and I travel every single weekend. I go to school for 40 hours a week in 4 days and still have 5 years of mechanical engineering to get under my belt. Ha ha ha. So basically I'm strapped for time and money and I work with what I've got. :D

Turbo or body kits?

Both...lol. Most turbo kits are overpriced, thats all...

By the way...what is the Aspec......I am assuming American Spec vs Jspec(japanese)...what exactly is it....?

Thanks.... 8)

It's the american version of the type r's. It's got the full fledged body kit and an upgraded suspension. It's tighter and and an inch lower. Plus, interior trim. Only thing it doesn't have is a k20a. Damn gov. Ha ha. I agree with you on the body kits in a lot of cases. Most are too much and wild. I love this though. Ever since I set eyes on the type r's and the aspecs I was hooked. It's mild enough and I think it looks DAMN good for a factory body kit. Acura's......oh yeah.

Forgot the wheels and tires too. Yokohama's are stock and those are acura wheels as well.

Don't get me wrong...most if not all factory kits I like....its just when you get huge gawdy front clips and big wings that sorta kill the car... 8)

Oh I totally agree. And I almost was disgusted by the wing. But it grew on me when I saw it in person. It flows with the car.

Same thing I felt about the Si wing. Then it grew on me. Then came the Evo/Sti wing...now I like them....bandwagon I guess.... 8)

hehe sorry to bring up the kits thing again, but if u want low end why not get the jsrc start out with the stret kit upgrade to the race kit later.

You're right about that. But it's the idea of aspec. The idea of a tight factory upgrade kit is cool. Ha ha. I have taken so many classes on dealership work and repair that I have a respect for stock in a way. Ha ha ha.
