C6 FINALLY CAME IN

McClinton finally got 1st c6, is a thing of beauty, no key even comes with it, push button start.electronic door latches.no lock cylinders whatsovever. touchscreen stereo, 6 speed. i listed a blurry pic from my cell phone

I am assuming it has some sort of radio key fob or something? How else do you lock/unlock it?

I pity the fool that leavest he lights on... gee electronic door latches.... dead battery... why does that sound like a really shitty idea. dead battery means doors won't open, so you can't pop the hood, to jump the car.... someone didn't think that thru.

Though I'm sure they have *SOME* mechanism for getting into the vehicle in the event of battery failure/key fob failure/door mechanism failure.

yeah it just got off the truck yesterday, we have to due the pre-delivery inspection here in service, check it over, fluids, install the wheel centers, stuff like that, yeah all it has is a key fob, it has valet so when you get withing 3 ft of it it unlocks itself and when walking away locks itself, you can leave it in your pocket the whole time, even when you start it. i took some good pics that i will post as soon as i get the cord from superchargedgsr for the camera

most new cars have lights that turn them self off after you get out of the driver's side door.

yeah my 85 supra does that for the headlights, but not the dome lights.. >.<

My wifes Toyota Sienna(minivan) has had a dead battery 3 time since we bought it earlier in the year.... all because of the dome light. Sorry for going OT.

i scoped it in the showroom earlier.. like the looks of the C5 better, but like the options of the C6.. none the less i still had to jerkoff in its presence like any red blooded american male would do

Ha ha ha I wonder that as well! Seriously. My dad was on the waiting list for a 50th anniversary corvette for like 3 years, so he finally got it when 03 came and he doesn't even like it. But I drove it the other week and the interior was just weak. Don't get me wrong, the corvette is no punk, but the interior is definately lacking in some refinement. It doesn't fill the "corvette" image. So if anyone wants a 50th I'm sure my old man would be willing to part!

well i finally saw one in marietta, and about flipped they are such nice looking cars.. now i think im hooked on this vette's never really like the other ones... But yea those headlights were a good idea 8)
