I read about this awhile back and if I remember right they had problems getting the piston rings to seal.

Honda NR750, NR500 outgrowth of a GP bike is a rare copy back in the early 1990s when he was nine and I just received a note from Tim, one of our regulars here that he spotted one of these machines Exotic for sale on eBay in England. The oval piston NR750 four in a configuration V4. Two rods for each piston 8 valves per cylinder are truly unique. It's like a V8, when someone knocked on a few walls while remodeling.
