OMG! That was an insane list of vids. Thanks.
Top Gear is awesome. I have all of their episodes from last year up to last week. I think they are the most entertaining auto show around.
5th Gear is also quite good but perhaps not as exciting, more driving oriented..which is a fine mix.
I find the current listing here: http://gear.viper007bond.com/downloads.php
Gotta have a bit torrnet thou.

OK, those bittorrents seem to be VERY slow. Is there anyting I can do to speed them up?
I'm using ABC torrent client and I have a 3meg cable connection.

Yes, try different times of the day. It only works when there are others "sharing" the same torrent, so there are certain times when more ppl are on and sharing.
For example, The Top Gear vids are not so widely known here in the states. However its very popular in Europe and especially the UK. When I want to DL the latest Top Gear vid I do it in the morning which will be afternoon and early evening in the UK where many ppl are sharing that file. Of course its best to try to be on top of the game and get the DL right when it comes out as it will be shared by many. Older torrents will be harder to get.
You may also be interested in Direct Connect ( http://www.neo-modus.com/ ). A different type of "information gathering"
FYI, if you want ALL the Top Gears from last season and the first 2 of the season, I'll burn you (Robbie or Adam) a DVD with all the episodes in great resolution for computer viewing. (wish I had the .AVI files in full HD...but file size would be extreme.) The file size for the episodes I have are about 350MB per episodes.

Davis, if you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate that. You can burn one copy and Robbie and I could share it.
One of us could watch it, then trade... 8)

EH your Internet just sucks, and you're not up in the middle of the night. I downloaded 4 episodes via BitTorrent last night on my DSL, and I got each of the 20 minute eps in about 25 minutes, and I got the 60 minute on in about 45. It's great to have Internet that's 3x faster than a T1.

Maybe... maybe not. I have a Charter 3Mb connection. What bittorrent client do you use? This ABC client is new for me. I'm averaging 5kb/s... It reminds me of dialup. My connection is not that slow.

Set it to T3 and let 'er rip. Mine started off @ 5k/s jumped to 15k/s after about oh... 10 or so minutes, and then finished off @ around a cruising 65k/s
