Alright, this really isn't out to anyone specifically, but this goes out to a number of people on this site. Just what the subject says, open your minds to the automotive industry. I don't understand how someone who is mainly interested in fast imports say that either trucks or lowriders suck. Does no one consider the srt-10 dodge makes that would stomp all over half the people on this site? Or perhaps the lightning? I just don't understand how someone can be so close minded to someone else that is interested in their car (Or truck) just because it is not "built to your standard" or whatever you may think. I'm sorry but that makes people like myself look bad and that's the main reason I don't roll with a club. Because of people like that! It gets old. I have built lowriders to sport trucks and now imports. This is my first import! I tore down an 84 Cadillac and rebuilt that car and all its hydraulics, I built a Silverado on 20's with a huge stereo, I also built a 64 Impala on bags, and now my rsx. But it seems that no matter where I go I'm not pleasing someone because it's either a "ricer" or I'm not "black enough" to be driving it. I'm just happy to see someone putting any interest into their car. It's awesome. And ya know what, it makes parts cheaper for us. It also makes a larger audience of kids to go stomp on. Now don't get me wrong, the fast and furious shit is way out of hand. Someone does need to atleast have some knowledge of a car to step up to the plate. However, if someone shows me interest no matter what it may be, then I'm willing to share some knowledge and help them get into whatever league they wish. Just open your minds guys! It's gettin' old :nono:

I think you are preachin to the choir...noone here (that matters) looks down on anybody, as long as their enthusiasm is directed in a tasteful manner. F.E. noone likes ricers and morons.

my opinion is that I think hydraulics ect are gay as hell, butt if you do them right, then you'll still get some props from me.

Like I said, I wasn't pointing fingers at anybody specifically...I was just speaking my mind.

I like 63's dropped sittin on 17's personally.. buddy of mine has one bagged that's pretty sweet. Another friend of mine has one with switches. Im not a big fan of hydros, but it's old skool.. gota respect that. It's cool in its own right.

Alltho alot of my comments lean tward not liking imports, as Ive explained in the past I dont like 'ricers'. Im a fan of cars in general.. just not what some idiots to do certain cars. Right now there's a new bodystyle V6 stang runnin around that the kid put the Cobra-R stuf on, and 18's.. There's also a V6 firechicken with the t/a bodykit an WS6 hood.. once again, GAY. That's the same to me as puttin type-r badges on your cx..

Domestics have just as much potential to be gay as imports do..

Agree fully.
I will admit that I'm not into the whole import "show" car theme as I like performance over looks BUT, I still consider them part of us "modding" guys and understand that people have their own ways of creating things.... performance o show....whatever it takes to makes us tick.

I have to say, I'm into looks just about as much as I am performance. I've been doing autobody for 25 years, and thats what I know. An extreme mod (like the HRSS) is just as fascinating to me as 800HP. Don't get me wrong, I love performance, but I want to look good while doing it.

Now see, that's where I agree with you. Like I said, atleast have some knowledge or potential to step up to the plate. (Following your badge idea) And I'm glad to see everyone's opinions
