Hey I love the exhaust tip (Circa 98 ) 195-50-15 Goodyear Eagle GTII and the wheels are 15x6.5. As far as I can tell the Goodyears are better than the Pirellis I had and way better than the Kelly Chargers.

Well theres this 8 year old down the street and I bought a case of krylon white and the rest is history did it all for the price of a happy meal. $500 including paint tape and the rest of the crap i did the prep work and sanding he painted and did the prep on all rubber pieces. I have the guys card in my wallet its outside of beverly.
you passed me earlier today on grant cent.. i remember seein the car an thought 'damn that thing looks good'
those wheels look killer when its rollin.. they look big, guess its cause the crx's are so small *shrug*
what kinda exhaust you got on it? didnt sound too bad

i agree can't wait to see it when it is finished.
It sounds really good, I was impressed.. when you went by me I knew it wasent a half4ss setup like you usually see.. the folgers-free-flow and the ever so popular sanka-cat-back. Coffee cans are sposed to have coffee in them..
My buddy had a GST w/flowmaster catback on it, wondered what it was gona sound like cause flowmaster is generally a domestic related exhaust company.. but it sounded really good when he got it bolted up.
It handle pretty good bein dropped Dave?

C_Note
11-16-2004, 12:02 PM
It looks good, but just one question. If you had it painted, why'd you go all white? I think I would have picked something to hide dust/dirt better, like a light grey/silver. My CRX and Buick are white, and if I can help it, I'll never own white again.

I thought my white car hid dirt very well....it never really seemed that dirty till I washed it then I was like
white doesnt show dirt nearly as bad as black does. my white stang can sit outside for a month w/out bein washed 'i know cause its been outside for a month now w/out moving' an it stil looks good til you go to wash it.. then youre like ehh where did al this dirt come from?
white and black are the two baddest colors for any car.. with yello bein a close runner up
narfdanarf
11-16-2004, 04:33 PM
black definitely sucks, though I would love a black car
C_Note
11-16-2004, 04:42 PM
I won't own another black, either, if I had the choice. My Ranger was black, and yeah, it was harder to keep clean than the CRX or Buick (smudges, smears, etc).
daveb91
11-16-2004, 06:15 PM
White ironically hides dirt way better than black does have owned both colored cars and white is the best. Also doesnt show water spots as bad and is cooler in the summer time. And why would I have spent a butt load of money changing the color of the car do you realize what it takes to change the color of a car the right way?

Yeah i think my next purchase is a wideband and a boost, AF gauge. I love the power down low something I dont think I have ever had with the honda. Might in the future get rid of the FMU and get one of those A/F hack controllers still not the best but a step up anyways. Just dont have the resources for the chip programming.

Pulley.....?
Which one?
Tuned with Turboedit? Was it already "pre-tuned".....if so, those may not work out as well as you had hoped, they leave alot of room for error...
Improper ignition timing coupled with horrible a/f ratios....
Not hating, just don't want you to make any mistakes mang....
Btw...Good luck...

It make a pretty big dif in the power now that you changed everything? How much boost you runnin now?
daveb91
08-29-2005, 11:49 AM
Turboedit is like Uberdata but for OBD0 cars. I still need to fine tune it for my car but the program was made with a friend of mine that has the exact setup but different header, with a wideband. It made an awesome gain over the FMU which mine loses power in the higher bands as the stock injectors were giving up.

Yea, but you need something like a wideband o2 and a romulator unless you feel like making a change, then burning it, then making a change then reburning the chip..
I spend alot of time on pgmfi.org....

Mostly in the Crome forums though....

This is in no way a track car or strip car but for me its a fun car for the weekend just like last weekend with some friends. The S/C definately makes a good time better! All the power upgrade is where I want it over the entire power band. Not a ton here and there just enought everywhere!

No same tires different wheels the tires had like absolutely no miles on them so I had to use them. I did also have two pirellis that I could have used with about 80% tread on them but then I would of had to buy two more. And no to the C/F it would be more for someone like you, there is a guy making molds for a C/F roof this way guys can eleminate the sunroof without a leaky plug. Lots of things that just got me fed up with the crx, it was always good to me and extremely reliable. Things change, like my old ass basically falling out of that car jut to get out and the head room sucked. I wish I had more room I would have kept it and still bought the teg.
Love the wheels. I hate the gun metal ones on the yellow.
I was looking at a white itr but couldn't agree on the stupid $ he wanted for it.
They are all around nice cars. Don't have to do much to them.

Weird thing though.....I bought the car from Thorpe when he bought a 98 itr and then I sell it to pick up a itr.
I almost bought his itr but it had a billion miles on it even back then

Is yours a real ITR? Don't get me wrong, I think the K series is a great motor. But why would someone ruin the value of a real Type R by putting a K in it?

It's not like it's an early spec type r those are the ones worth the money. The 96 are the gold mine because so few were made....even though we didn't get any here and the 97-98.. People mod the crap out of these things a lot of people through the jdm fronts on and really hack them up.....whatever has been done to mine can be reversed. All the mounts are bolt in but I don't see it going back.......
Either way, I like it a lot. Have always loved Integra's.
