Puttin the new World-Class T5 in it this week, along with the motorsport clutch.. after that, this thing needs to find a new home!
Ok, specs.. here goes
Body;
- shaved front, rear, an side emblems
- new foglights / headlights w/clears
- lx tails
- rosebud red base/clear
- 17" cobra r's w/falken rubber
Interior;
- power windows 'pass side one died, bought a new motor for it havent changed it yet'
- power locks 'power locks dont work, dono why its a common mustang thing'
- power mirrors
- cruise
- tilt
- ac 'got a shortbelt bypassing the ac pump'
- grey / black interior
- 140mph speedo
- no radio.. i have a cd player i may throw in it tho
The goods;
- orig 302 block bored to a 306
- trw pistons
- Ford Motorsports B303 cam
- stock heads *i didnt build the motor, i woulda had them ported/polished*
- junk factory headers, im replacing them when i swap the tranny.. got 1 3/4" BBK's
- 'off road' h-pipe 2 1/2"
- flowmaster cat-back 2 1/2" ~ swapped the flo's out for a set of MAC's
- ghetto-fab cold air intake
'also removed pass. fender well to decrease under-hood temp'
- World Class T5 w/shorty shifter
- Ford Motorsports clutch/pressure plate/throwout bearing
- motorsport springs on all 4 corners 'notice it doesnt sag in the rearend'
- new quadra shocks and struts 'dont remember what brand i can look tho'
I have a stock polished mustang intake 'as polished as a stock one can get' that im thinking about throwing on it.. really with the motor bein built like it is and the cam it has, it could use a better flowing intake. If i do swap it out im gona put the matching valve covers to that intake on it as well.. theyre a chrome illusion red look which looks kinda cool on the car.
I got new carpet for the trunk area I needa put in this week.. was debating puttin the system out of my other stang in it, might do that I dono yet.. Nada major just some nice high-end and one 10' sub.
- Hmm.. lemme start adding up what everything costs..
- $1,100 for a new World Class T5
- $250 I think is what I ended up in the clutch assembly, it may of been cheaper
- $150 for springs, and prob another $200 or so for shocks/struts
- $500 roughly for the rebuilt kit w/pistons bearings & rings ect. plus the cost of having it put together
- $800 paintjob.. I dont have much in it at all but he's a friend of mine
- $100 lx tails
- $180 headlights/clear corners an inners/fog lights
- $600 17" Cobra-R's from Ford Motorsports ~ Not the cheap knockoff's
- $380 in Falken rubber.. could use 2 new tires tho, theyre bout 1/2 tred
- $150 2-1/2" offroad h-pipe
- $200 flowmaster cat-back 'removed the flo's for mac's tho'
- $250 bbk 1-3/4" headers
that alone brings the grand total to..
$4,860 in just parts alone, not to mention labor ect.
kinda hard to count labor when you do most of it yourself tho lol
I want $5,500 for the car.. do not want this thing no longer!
