Looks like I'm leaving... taking a GS11 position down at Shaw AFB in Sumter, SC. So, I'm not going to have the time to do anything with the CRX, and I'm not hauling it down with me.

Damn this country. Well, I dunno exactly who/what to blame for sending you down there, but it sucks. I was looking forward to seeing that roadster  . Hope you'll still have access to the forums.

Don't blame anyone, this was my choice. I could have stayed here, finished school, and worked on forming my software design firm. But on the other hand, I'm starting to get burned out on school, could have to wait for 2 years to wait for everything to go through on the firm, and have a family to support (my wife quit her job so she could start school full-time, as well). When my buddy told me about the job, I knew immediately that I wanted it. I just need some change in my life for now.
I will be back, and when I do, I will bring with me years of experience and an increased knowledge. It will be then that I decide to create the jobs that I promised last year. I'm not giving up, just reevaluating the situation. Taking the scenic route.
And don't blame Marietta. I have buddies in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Dallas, three of the most thriving cities in the US, that are in the same position as I. Marietta has a world of potential, I just can't seem to be able to convince those in office of it, and am not getting much support from others that see things the way I do (the only support I have received has been from organizations in Athens and Columbus that recognized my efforts). They'd rather sit back and bitch about how much the MOV sucks, instead of stepping up beside me to do something about it. This is not something I can do alone.
Adam, of course I'll continue to visit the site. Marietta is still my home, and always will be.

I believe Governor Wise would be the better person to blame. But like he said, it was his decision.
Enjoy SC, what I've seen of it is nice.
