Whats cool about that car, is that I did all the work myself. The only thing I didn't do was set up the rearend gears. But the motor work, suspension, and the car used to be a auto and now its uses a 3550 tremec.
To me 8.50 on radials is fast, most car on thrusday, and ffiday night run 9 flat and slower. I hope get way into the 7's with the addition of cubic inches!

She never drives it, she hates driven the car. It has HCI and all the bolts. The current combo is sold, it is being replaced with 7 liters of stoker power!

7 Liters stroker=427cid, I'm doing a stroker 351, AFR225's spyder intake, should be pretty bad. A big block is bad ass, but the parts are pricey. My dad and I are working on a 66 Fairlane GTA, we scrapped the 390 and put a crate 460 the one with Super Cobra jet heads. It a very custom car, we used the shell and, and well thats it.
Rusty, whats going on, Tiff and I are doing well. We just got married this past summer. We bought a house last summer, so put me in the middle aged married type guy, lol. But Tiff is cool with me pushing the car to the next phase. Dads 69 stang isn't doing very good, the other day he had it out and was powershifting it and missed 3rd gear. It messed up some stuff in the valvetrain, so it's coming back out this winter when the Fairlane is at the Ash's bodyshop.
I seen a nice GTA in Springfeild last weekend.. the car was so clean it wasent funny, cept for one minor detail. The GTA sticker along the bottom of the car was done using stick-on letters like you would use on a mailbox. My dad bout pissed laughing when he seen that.
I got a 390 and a 460 both, just debating on which one I wana keep an which one I wana use.. Ive got nothing but time to mess with it tho.
Id liek to see your car before you disassemble it, it's a sweet lookin ride
