Live is MUCH better!
...but no I've never used it.

I've never messed with it, thiking about gettin LIVE, a buddy of mine uses xbc tho, he told me about it last night I had never seen nor heard of it before. I had a ton of cat5 cable left over from work i brought home today lol. If anyone needs any lemme know i got like 500ft of it.

doesn't xbc alow you to use mod chips? i know life will boot you for life if your caught with one.. 8)

3. No Advertising of Non XBox related material. This includes but is not limited too, Mod chips, pornography, Outwar, Warez, and FTP clients. Advertising clan sites is permitted but not to be excessively repeated. Once every 30-45 minutes is permitted.
that's the only rule even stating anything about mod chips, and it doesnt say they cannot be used, just says not to advertise them.. so who knows, i would assume it's ok

No, XBConnect does not require a mod chip. XBConnect does in fact work fine if you are modded and all your games will run normally. XBConnect also does not detect the use of mod chips. We will not however offer help and support for people with modded boxes.

The problem is that anyone can cheat with a mod chip. On XBOX Live everyone is on a level playing field(cheat wise).
Jay, Have you tried XBOX Live? The ability to talk you the prople you're playing with is awesome. You can't get that with XBC.
Yea I dont have it but a friend of mine does, We used it for Halo all the time, we hit it up on Halo2 the other nite. I may get it *shrug* I wana mod my xbox tho.. so that meen's I'd have to buy a 2nd xbox

Halo 1 is NOT XBOX Live enabled. You did not play Halo 1 on XBOX Live. I highly suggest you try XBOX Live.
Most Mod chips allow you to basically turn them off and go on XBOX Live "un-modded." Just make sure its off when you go online.
Plus, My Halo 2 LE came with a month or so of FREE XBL.

Yeah, you can link them on a network. We do that all the time at my house. But that's not XBL.

you can also play halo1 thru gamespy arcade.. but thats almost the same as connecting xbox's thru a router 8)
