What do you all think about chopping/hacking cars to make them pro-street drag cars? Like say a 3rd gen RX7 bein tubbed, or a Supra, cars that you can no longer buy being destroyed so they can be 'race cars'

Now I know if it werent for cars in the 1st place, we wouldnt have race cars.. but all to often do I come across old 66' fastbacks, ect. that are worthless cause someone hacked them to hell years ago an turned what would be a 30k+ car now into what's about a $500 pile. It sux when you see cars that you cant go buy/replace being bought/destroyed in this manner.. even CRX's for that matter, you cant just go down to the local honda shop an buy one.

I am in no way aginst racing, im all for it, but it sux when you think that a car that may be somewhat readily available now, such as the RX7 or the CRX will be hard to find 15+ years down the road because of all them being turned into race cars. The Monte Carlo SS is like this.. every hilljack in the country turns them into dirt track cars.

Just a random thought, figured I'd ask some other ppl what they thought of it.

for some odd reason I've always liked the older monte SS's butt it's so hard to find them now....as far as CRX's go....mine was hacked before I got it :P

I rather see them turned into race cars then crushed.
